The International Theater Festival of Belo Horizonte ninth edition is the biggest ever, since the Festival’s foundation, when it comes to number of performances. It’s promoted by The City Hall of Belo Horizonte, along whit the Association of friends of the Artistic Education Foundation (FLAMA) – sponsored by PETROBRAS, co-sponsored by CEMIG, OI, USIMINAS and counts with cultural support of Funarte Casa do Conde, Oi Futuro, Usicultura and Federal and State of Minas Gerais laws to stimulate culture.

From June 26th to July 6th, the public will watch 34 performances: 18 on stage, nine on alternative spaces and seven on the street, including an itinerant performance. There are six interventions of Puppet Theater on the decks of buildings downtown Belo Horizonte.

17 international groups, six Brazilian groups and nine groups from Belo Horizonte are among the Festival attractions.

For the first time, a Brazilian performance will open FIT. Antonio Nóbrega, a plural artist from Pernambuco, will perform on June 26th, 10:10 p.m., at Station Square. A show with many Brazilian rythms. Get ready!
